Apply a Custom View to HR Cases

Changes to custom views are saved at the user level. If you have more than one role with HR Case Management, your saved changes are applied to all of your roles. Also, the Subject column is locked so you can’t make changes to it.

To customize the columns that are shown in the grid:

  1. Go to HR Case Management > Cases and click Custom View.
  2. In the custom view slide-out panel, do the following:
    • Rearrange the columns by dragging them to the position that you want.
    • Clear or select checkboxes for the columns that you want to see in the grid. The Response due date and Submitted on date columns don’t show by default, but you can add them.
  3. Click one of the following:
    • Apply: To save your changes. Your custom view settings are saved and automatically applied the next time you log in.
    • Reset: To restore the columns to the default view.
    • X: To close the panel. Note that if you made changes, Dayforce shows a confirmation dialog box indicating that your unsaved changes will be lost.
