In the Work > Balances screen in People, you can configure the balances that employees are entitled to and adjust the balance totals. Dayforce uses balances to track employee benefits, such as vacation time, sick time, and personal days so that as employees record their time or make time away from work requests, the appropriate balance is deducted automatically. For example, when an employee takes five days off on vacation, Dayforce deducts five days from their vacation balance.
