You can view the pay zone that is assigned to an employee's work assignment in the Work > Work Assignments screen of People.
In the Pay Information section of work assignment records, the read-only Pay Zone field shows the pay zone assigned to the work assignment. The values of the pay grade, like the read-only Min and Mid fields, are updated based on the assigned pay zone.
In this example, the work assignment is assigned the US - 10% Above Average pay zone, and the pay grade values are increased by 10%.
In the Pay Information section, Dayforce also shows the Pay Zone Override drop-down list, where you can assign a different pay zone to the work assignment. See (Optional) Override Pay Zones by Employee.
If there’s a pay zone that is a better match for a work assignment, the job replaces the current pay zone with the better matching pay zone. For example, if an employee changes their primary residence address through either the user interface or a form, their pay zone might change.
