The User Properties section of the Security Settings screen in People contains the following options:
Setting |
Purpose |
---|---|
User Name |
The name that the user enters to log in to Dayforce. |
Culture |
The language that Dayforce is shown in for the user. Note: Dayforce only shows languages that are configured for your organization in Site Setup > Client > Cultures. |
Numeric Culture |
Defines which language's number format Dayforce uses, regardless of which language is selected for the account. For example, you could use this setting to show numbers using English (United States), even though text is shown in French (Canada). |
Approved |
Indicates whether the user account is approved. Important: Users can only log in to Dayforce if their account has been approved. |
Can See Self |
Controls whether Dayforce hides or shows information about the employee linked to the user account when that user account logs in to the application. Note: This setting doesn't control whether users can view and edit their own schedules and timesheets. That access is controlled by the Access to own schedule data and Access to own time data access authorizations, respectively. |
Show Disclaimer |
Controls whether a disclaimer is shown to the user when they log in to Dayforce. |
Display 24 Hour Time |
Controls whether the 24-hour time format is used for this user. |
