In HR Admin > Statistics Type, you can add statistics types that store data about how much an employee is paid. For example, you can configure a statistic that stores how much an employee is paid for a specific pay code. You can then configure pay rules to use this statistic in their calculations rather than having to rely on pay details. When these rules are configured to use statistics, Dayforce uses statistical data for the periods prior to the current calculation period, and pay details for the current calculation period.
After you've added employee statistics types in the Statistics Types subfeature, you must configure an instance of the Aggregate Monthly Worked Minutes background job to collect the statistical data. It’s in the settings of this task that you define which pay details contribute to the statistic.
