You can record a return from a leave of absence by submitting a Return to Work form.
To submit a Return to Work form:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Forms.
- Select the Return to Work form.
- Note: Dayforce automatically populates any fields that already have values in the employee's records in People. Only update these fields if they have changed.
- Enter the return to work date in the Actual Return Date field.
- Select an employment status in the Status drop-down list. Typically, this is Active, but depending on how Dayforce is configured, there might be several different statuses that represent returning from a leave of absence.
- Update the remaining fields. For example, to configure a new pay rate upon returning to work, enter the new hourly rate or yearly salary value in the Job Rate/Salary field.
- Attach additional information to the Supporting Documents section of the form. See Attach Files to Forms.
- Click Submit.
