When an employee's name or marital status changes, you can update their records by submitting a Name and Marital Status form.
To submit a Name and Marital Status form:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Forms.
- Click the Name and Marital Status form.
- Note: Fields that are already recorded in Dayforce are automatically populated.
- Change the fields as required under Name.
- Make any required changes to existing entries under Marital Status.
- To record a new marital status, click Add.
- Select the new marital status in the corresponding drop-down list.
- Enter a start date and, optionally, an end date.
- Attach additional information to the Supporting Documents section of the form as needed. See Attach Files to Forms.
- Click Submit.
