The Performance section of the Talent screen (Manager View) in People shows a record of employee performance. For more information on the types of records shown in this section, see View Performance Records.
This section shows read-only entries from Performance and Succession Planning, but you can also maintain external performance reviews. External performance reviews aren't related to performance reviews from Performance, which populates this section automatically.
To add an external performance review:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Talent.
- In the Performance section, click Add.
- Select a cycle in the Cycle Name drop-down list.
- Performance review cycles define the date range during which an employee should be reviewed. For example, an organization that conducts semi-annual reviews might have an H1 and H2 review cycle configured, one for each half of the year.
- Select the rating scale the review used in the Scale drop-down list.
- Select the rating that the employee earned in the Rating drop-down list.
- Expand the review and complete the following fields:
- Enter the review period start and end dates.
- Enter the percentage rating in the Rating Score field to ensure that related charts are shown correctly.
- Enter the date of the next review in the Next Review Date field.
- Select the employee who conducted the performance review in the Reviewer drop-down list.
- Enter any further information in the Comments field.
- Click Save.
To copy an existing review for an employee, rather than creating one:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Talent.
- Select the external review that you want to copy. (You can only copy external performance reviews created as described above.)
- Click Copy.
- Edit the necessary fields in the copied review.
- Click Save.
To delete an existing review:
- Select the review that you want to delete.
- Dayforce expands the details of the selected review and highlights it in blue.
- Click Delete.
- Click Save.
