Pregnancy work ban leave is used when an employee can’t work for reasons related to their pregnancy. For example, health issues, work hardship, or night shifts.
Before You Begin: This topic applies to German pay groups only. For general information about the Leave Management screen, see Leave Management.
A pregnancy work ban leave record can be linked to an existing maternity leave record. However, it can also be non-linked in the case where no regular maternity leave is on file yet. For example, an employee might request pregnancy work ban leave before informing the employer of a pregnancy. See Add Linked Leave Records (Germany).
