Personal > Dependents and Beneficiaries

Before You Begin: If your organization isn’t using the Benefits module of Dayforce, you can configure the Dependents and Beneficiaries screen so that it's available in the Personal section of the employee profile in People. If your organization uses the Benefits module, then it's recommended that you configure the Dependents and Beneficiaries screen as an item within the Benefits section of the employee profile. It isn’t recommended that you make the screen available both in and out of the Benefits section of the menu. To configure the location of this screen, go to the Features tab of System Admin > Roles.

In the Benefits > Dependents and Beneficiaries screen in People, administrators can view, add, and edit an employee’s dependent and beneficiary records.

Click the expand icon next to the dependent or beneficiary name to view the following tabs:

  • General Information
  • Confidential Information
  • Phone Number
  • Address
  • Coverage and Designation
  • QMCSO
  • Verification

You can update employees’ dependent and beneficiary information either by updating the information directly in each tab, or by using the Current Dependent Information and Current Beneficiary Information forms available in the Forms screen in People.
