Pay Grade and Job Factor Point Configuration

You can use pay grades to determine if employees are being paid appropriately. For example, if a pay grade defined for tellers ranges from $8 to $14 an hour, managers know that the employees working as tellers should be earning a pay rate in this range.

Dayforce can handle pay grade functionality in one of two ways: through pay grades, job grades, and job factor functionality, or through job factor point functionality. You can use only one of these methods. For more information, see the following chapters in the Dayforce Implementation Guide:
