The start date of the relevant week, which is calculated as follows:

  • If Leave for Adoption is No and the employee is entitled to maternity or paternity leave: The relevant week is the 15th week (ending on a Saturday) before the child’s birth date.
  • If Leave for Adoption is Yes and the employee is entitled to adoption leave: The relevant week is the start of the week that contains the matching date.
  • If the employee is not entitled to other statutory leave: The relevant week is the week immediately before the admission date, as long as the Recalculate Relevant Week based on Admission Date checkbox is selected.

The relevant week value shows the date from the Sunday at the start of this week.

Recalculate Relevant Week based on Admission Date
