The National ID Number filter in the People List screen of People returns employees with national IDs recorded in the SIN/SSN/National ID Number field of the General section in the Personal > Confidential Information screen of People.
Access and configuration: The label shown for the National ID Number filter depends on the configuration of the Client Operating Locations client property. See Client Operating Locations in the General topic of the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
It also returns employees with national IDs stored in the Identification section in the same screen. The Identification section is used instead of the SIN/SSN/National ID Number field to enter national IDs for employees in pay groups of certain countries like Australia or Ireland. The National ID Number filter returns employees with the following ID types in the Identification section:
- IRD Number (New Zealand)
- Tax Identification Number (Germany)
- TFN (Australia)
- National ID (Mauritius)
- PPSN (Ireland)
- Social Insurance Number (Germany)
When you enter a value in the filter, it returns results based on the Identification Number field of the record in the Identification section.
To improve filter performance, it’s recommended that you use the = (equals) operator when you filter employees by National ID Number rather than the contains operator.
