In the Employment > Employee Properties screen in People, when you make changes to the employee properties, Dayforce generates the HR event and determines the HR event date based on how you configured the following settings:
- Generate HR Event
- Use Property Effective Date as HR Event Date
In HR Admin > Employee Properties, you can select the Use Property Effective Date as HR Event Date checkbox to set the HR event date to the effective date of the employee property. This checkbox works when you select the Generate HR Event checkbox. See Create Employee Properties.
Note: Dayforce generates the HR event only if the Employee Property Changed HR event has a triggered workflow assigned in Workflow Administration > HR Events.
