Generate the WGEA Report

You can run the WGEA report in People in the People List screen. The WGEA Report is enabled for the Client Administrator role by default and can be enabled for other roles as needed.

Before You Begin: Some configuration is required in Dayforce before you can do Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting for Australian employees. See Configure WGEA Reporting Settings.

Role feature access: Report Library > Human Resources > Compliance > WGEA Report

In the Filters tab of the report, Dayforce shows the Time Period filter, where you can enter the date that the report runs from. The report includes data for the twelve months leading up to the date that is entered, as required by the WGEA.

The report is generated in Excel Workbook (XSLX) format and includes the columns needed for the Workplace Profile – Payroll Aligned template provided by the WGEA. It includes employees who, in their primary work assignment, have a job assignment with the WGEA Reportable Position checkbox selected in the Jobs and Job Assignments tab of Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments.

The data for each employee in the report is populated from several areas of Dayforce, including the following:

  • The settings of the Job Assignment tab in HR Admin > WGEA Report Configuration for the employee's current primary job assignment.
  • The WGEA employment statuses and employment types selected for pay classes and position terms in HR Admin > WGEA Configuration.
  • The employee's profile in People.
  • The employee's pay details in the Payroll module.

To run the WGEA Report:

  1. Go to the People List screen in People.
  2. Click Reports to open the Reports dialog box.
  3. Under Adhoc Reports > Compliance, click WGEA Report.
  4. In the Time Period field, enter the date that the report runs from.
  5. Click Run Report. Dayforce runs the report and sends it to Message Center when it’s finished generating.
