You can view and add veteran status in the Veteran Status section of the Personal > Confidential Information screen in People. See Veteran Status (US).
Veteran status can also be added in Dayforce in the following ways:
- Employees can complete the Confidential Information form in employee self-service.
- Through Dayforce Recruiting, you can send candidates an email invitation to complete the Post Offer Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) form. See Post Offer VEVRAA Form in the Recruiting Guide.
- If your organization collects veteran status through an external system, you can add it to Dayforce through the HR Import. See “US Confidential Information” in the HR Import Specification document.
Dayforce doesn't record missing veteran status. If an employee doesn't have a veteran status recorded, the assumption is that they're not a protected veteran.
