Employee Transfers (Ireland and UK)

The Employee Transfers tab of the Employment > Employment Settings screen in People contains transfer in dates for employees in Ireland or the UK.

Before You Begin: The Employee Transfers tab is shown only for employees in Ireland or UK pay groups.

Transfer in dates are entered to comply with Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) regulations in the UK and Ireland. TUPE applies to employees when an employer takes over their current employer’s business under a legal merger or transfer. For example, if an employer transfers its customer service department to another company.

You can enter an employee’s transfer in date in the Transfer In Date field in the Employee Transfers tab. Entering transfer in dates allows you to track employees who are covered by TUPE legislation.
