Define a Hiring Location for Multiple Sites

Dayforce can combine two or more sites as a single hiring location line item in the VETS-4212 Filing Report. When sites are combined, the employee totals for each site are counted together under one hiring location.

Sites are automatically combined when they have the same name in the Establishment Number field of the Compliance Properties tab in Org Setup > Organization > Organization. Only sites for the legal entities that are selected for the template are included in the report.

For example, say that Site A and Site B are configured with establishment number 123456. If Site A has 50 employees and Site B has 20 employees, a single row with an aggregate count of 70 is shown in the generated CSV file.

Combined hiring locations are shown in the Hiring Locations tab with an expand icon in the left-most column, as shown in the following screenshot:

When you click the expand icon, Dayforce shows a list of sites with the same establishment number. You can use the option buttons to change which site is reported as the hiring location for the combined sites, as shown in the following screenshot:

After you've made a change, click Save in the toolstrip at the top of the screen.
