Create HR Incident Groups

To create an HR incident group:

  1. Go to HR Admin > HR Incidents and click the HR Incident Groups tab.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a name and, optionally, a description.
  4. Select the Requires Escalation checkbox if incidents in this group should be escalated. In System Admin > System Notifications, you can configure Dayforce to send the HR Incident Escalation notification to users when new incidents are created and have an incident type that belongs to an incident group requiring escalation.
  5. You can use this functionality to track incident types by severity, distinguishing warnings that can result in a warning letter from severe incidents that require escalation and can result in dismissal. In this case, you'd create two groups and configure the severe group to require escalation.
  6. Click Save.

After you create an incident group, you can assign incident types to it in the HR Incident Types tab of HR Admin > HR Incidents.
