Configure the Employee Name Display Format

You can customize the way employee names are shown in Dayforce using the Name Display Format client property in System Admin > Client Properties.

To change the way employee names are shown in Dayforce:

  1. Go to System Admin > Client Properties and click the Properties tab.
  2. In the Employee section, in the Name Display Format drop-down list, select the options you want to include in the display name of employees:

  4. The order in which you select each option is the order in which each option is shown in the final name combination.
  5. Click Save.

For example, employee Margaret Helen Parr is shown as “Margaret Parr” when you save the combination in the preceding screenshot. However, if you were to save the following combination, she would be shown as “Parr, Margaret H”:

Note: You must select each option in the order in which you want it shown in Dayforce.
