To define a performance cycle:
- Go to HR Admin > Performance Cycle Admin and click Add.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description for the performance cycle.
- Specify when the performance cycle starts and ends using the Start Month, Start Day, End Month, and End Day drop-down lists. For example, in the previous screenshot, the Annual cycle runs from June 1 this year to May 31 next year.
- Enter an effective date range. If the performance cycle should repeat every year, leave the Effective End field blank.
- Entering a date in the Effective End field means that after this date, employees can’t receive performance reviews under this cycle.
- Click Save.
- Dayforce adds the performance cycle. When managers conduct performance reviews, they can record that the results were part of the performance cycle.
