Pay data reports include data about employees in your organization's establishments. Establishments, for the purpose of reporting, must align to site-level org units with physical locations. The org level for org units is defined in the Level drop-down list in the General subtab of the Organization tab in Org Setup > Organization. Org units with other levels such as Corporate aren't included as establishments.
In the Organization tab of Org Setup > Organization, sites have the additional tab Compliance Properties, which contains settings specific to federal EEO-1, California Pay Data, Illinois Pay Data, and VETS-4212 reporting:
- Establishment Number: Enter the establishment number of the site. The field has a ten-character limit.
- Note: The Illinois pay data report includes all ten characters if entered, while the federal EEO-1 report only accepts seven characters.
- Establishment Name: Not used for the Illinois pay data report.
- Hiring Location: Used for VETS-4212 reporting only.
- NAICS Code: Enter the North American Industry Classification System code for the site. Corresponds to the NAICS Code field of the report.
- California Pay Data Report - Establishment Major Activity details: (California only)
- California Pay Data Report - Row-Level Clarifying Remarks: (California only)
In addition to compliance properties, you must ensure that sites have full address information defined in the Address tab of the site slide-out panel in the Organization tab of Org Setup > Organization.
Dayforce informs you of missing site information when you generate pay data reports in HR Admin > Compliance Reporting > EEO.
