Records for beneficiaries who aren't dependents only have the following properties, and none of them are required:
- Birth Date
- SIN/SSN or National ID Number
- SIN/SSN Expiry Date or National ID Number Expiry Date (Canadian employees only)
If your organization has configured the dependent’s SIN/SSN/National ID Number as a required field, this doesn’t apply to employees with a primary address in the United Kingdom or Canada, or dependents with a primary address in the United Kingdom or Canada (when the associated employee’s address isn’t ).
Note: If you don’t enter an SSN/SIN/National ID Number for a dependent or beneficiary, the benefits carrier feeds automatically export a default value of “999999999” as the individual’s SSN/SIN/National ID Number.
