Add School Year Calendars

Before You Begin: While you can add and edit calendars in Work > School Year Calendar, these calendars aren’t specific to the selected employee. When a school year calendar assignment is added, it’s available in the School Year Calendar Assignment drop-down list to assign to other employees.

To add a school year calendar:

  1. Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Work > School Year Calendar.
  2. Click Add. Dayforce shows a list of settings.
  3. Enter a name and, optionally, a description for the school year calendar.
  4. Select which state or province the school is in from the State/Province drop-down list.
  5. Select the school and non-school days you want using the school year calendar at the bottom of the screen.
