To add an HR incident record:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > HR Incidents.
- Click Add.
- In the General section, select an option in the Incident Type drop-down list.
- Select an option in the Location drop-down list. The selection defaults to the primary work location of the user entering the incident.
- Select a user in the Filed By drop-down list. The selection defaults to whoever is entering the incident details.
- Select an option in the Status drop-down list. The default status is Open.
- (Optional) Select options in the Assigned To, Action, and Questionable Claim drop-down lists.
- In the Date and Time section, update the Date Opened selection, if required. The selection defaults to today’s date.
- (Optional) Enter values in the following fields:
- Date Closed
- Incident Date (must be on or before the Date Opened value)
- Time Began Work
- Time of Incident
- Date Return to Work
- Are Days Lost
- Days Lost
- Days Restricted
- (Optional) Click View Notes to open the Notes slide-out panel and enter a note about the incident.
- Click the collapse icon to close the Notes slide-out panel.
- Click Save.
Edit HR Incident Records
To edit an HR incident record:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > HR Incidents.
- Click the row of the incident record to expand the details, and make changes in any field.
- (Optional) Add, edit, or delete existing notes.
- Click Save.
Copy HR Incident Records
To copy an HR incident record:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > HR Incidents.
- Select the incident record and click Copy. Dayforce creates a record with all of the existing values from the copied record except for Location, Date Closed, and any notes. The status selection is Open.
- Click Save.
Delete HR Incident Records
To delete an HR incident record:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > HR Incidents.
- Select the row of the record that you want to delete and click Delete.
- Click Save.
