To add an employee property to an employee profile:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > Employee Properties.
- Click Add.
- Select an employee property in the drop-down list. These properties are configured by an administrator in HR Admin > Employee Properties.
- Enter an effective from date and, optionally, and effective to date.
- In the Value field, enter a value for the employee property. The value can be a selection in a drop-down list, an alphanumeric value, or a checkbox, depending on how the property is configured.
- Click Save.
Dayforce displays the added flag in the row for the new employee property until it has been saved.
If you want to add another value for an employee property that is already in the employee’s profile, you can do this quickly by selecting the property record in the list and clicking Copy. Dayforce adds a duplicated record to the list, and you can update the effective dates and value as required.
