Add Citizenship Values

In HR Admin > Citizenship, you can add custom citizenship values for the regions your organization operates in. Users can then add these values to employee profiles in the Personal > Confidential Information screen of People.

You can't add custom values for the United States or Mauritius. These countries have system values configured that are used for payroll processing and which can't be edited. This helps to ensure the integrity of the data being sent for payroll processing for these countries.

To add custom citizenship values:

  1. Go to HR Admin > Citizenship and click Add.
  2. Enter a name and description.
  3. Enter a value in the Reference Code field. Reference codes are used to export data to other applications. These codes must be unique and must not contain special characters.
  4. Select the country or countries that this citizenship is restricted to.
  5. (Germany only) In the Geographical Region drop-down list, select the country associated with the citizenship to comply with specific legislative reporting requirements.
  6. Click Save.
