Pending Actions

The Pending Actions widget displays the workflowed actions and requests that are pending a user's review.

Note: The widget doesn’t show in Hub to employees who have a terminated status.

The following screenshot shows one example of the Pending Actions widget:

To view the workflow form associated with the pending action, click its link. For example, clicking the first action in the list above "ACTION REQUIRED: Please review Address submitted for Kelly Savard" opens the Address form, where you can accept or reject the request immediately, as shown here:

To accept or reject the action in the widget without opening the form, click the action icon () to the right of the item and select Accept or Reject.

Note: The option to accept or reject the action in the widget is configured by the content administrator so it might not be available.

Forms That Don't Display in the Pending Actions Widget

By design, the following forms don't display in the Pending Actions widget:

  • Time Off Request
  • Time Off Cancellation
  • Compensation Worksheet Approval
  • Upload New Certificate
  • Bonus Payment

Important: Depending on how it's configured, it's possible that the Bonus Payment custom form is shown in the widget, but display issues can occur in Dayforce if you approve it in the widget. For more information, go to System Admin > Client Properties > General in the Dayforce Implementation Guide and see “Exclude One Time Payment Bonus Form.”
