Dayforce provides a default template as an option when you configure a new hub so that you don't have to create home pages from scratch. The default template includes a Favorites, Balances, Earnings, Pending Actions, and My Team widget as seen here:
Add Additional Hubs
When you add a home page in the Add Home Page dialog box, the Hub Template field is automatically populated with the “Default Template” drop-down option. After you save your hub, you can add or remove widgets as desired, and preview your changes. In addition, you must create the hub assignment before you publish the hub for employees.
Add Your First Hub
Before You Begin: This option is only available for first time Hub users who have no hubs. Dayforce displays a welcome dialog in Hub Designer that includes the option to use the default template. After you add your first hub, Dayforce no longer displays the welcome message, even if you delete all of your hubs.
If you use the default template to create your first hub, Dayforce automates the process and assigns the hub to the default audience, which includes anyone who has access to a Dayforce instance, and has Experience Hub enabled for their role. Depending on the widgets and the type of information that is visible in your hub, consider if terminated employee roles or any other unique roles should have access to this hub or to a different hub. You can proceed to add or remove widgets as desired, preview, test, and then publish the hub when you are ready. For information about using this template to create your first hub, see Use the Default Template to Add Your First Hub.
