Background Jobs to Update Groups

If you create Hub audiences in HR Admin > Groups, particularly if the groups are based on eligibility criteria, you need to schedule and regularly run the following background jobs in System Admin > Background Jobs:

  • LMS Group Sync Job
  • Group Members Generation

These jobs ensure Dayforce regularly updates who should belong to the groups that have been set up.

If these jobs aren’t run, then over time, the group membership will be out-of-date and users might start seeing hubs they aren’t meant to, because hub determines eligibility based on the membership list of a group.
