Add Localized Pages

You can choose to add any available languages configured in Site Setup > Client for your organization to any hub page. If there are available languages, you can click the Add Language option in the Localize picker to open the Add Localized Page dialog box. If there are no available languages, the Add Language option isn’t enabled.

You can choose the language to add and then specify to copy content from a language page or add a language page with no content copied.

To add localized pages to a hub page:

  1. Go to Hub Setup > Hub Designer.
  2. In the Hubs tab, select the hub page you want to add localized pages to.
  3. Click Localize > Add Language to open the Add Localized Page dialog box.
  4. Select a language in the Language drop-down list.
  5. For Page Content, specify if you want to copy content from the existing language page that is preconfigured in the field or from another available localized page in the drop-down list, in the Sample Page template, or a Blank Page if you don't want to copy content.
  6. Note: If you chose to copy content from existing language and that language is using the sample template, Dayforce won’t translate the content of the template for the new localized page because it doesn’t know that it’s copying from a template page, the application only knows that it’s copying content from another page. To have the new language display a translated sample template, you must click Copy from Template.
  7. (Optional) Update or change the name of the localized page.
  8. (Optional) Add a description.
  9. If you don't want to use the default greeting in the Greeting field, click Insert Token to add one or more of the options for your greeting. Optionally, you can craft a greeting that doesn’t include any tokens.
  10. Click Add.

The localized page is now displayed in the drop-down list in the Active Language field.
