Earning Groupings for The Work Number Service

If you use only The Work Number service for employment and salary verification, you start by setting up a single earning grouping that includes all reportable earning codes that you then map to the regular pay type (suggested name is Equifax Regular) that has the Hours Based checkbox selected, so that both the hours and dollars are reported to Equifax.

To set up an earning grouping: 

1. Go to Payroll Setup > Groupings.
2. Click the Earning Groupings tab.
3. Click Add.
4. In the General section, enter a meaningful name and description. It is recommended that you use the name Equifax Regular.
5. In the Eligible Earnings section, select an earning code in the Available column and click the right arrow button to move the selected items to the Current column.
6. Repeat the previous step for each reportable earning.
7. Click Save, then click Refresh.
