After customers update to Dayforce Release 2025.1.0, they should review the Enhanced Employee Gender migration log in HR Admin > Employee Gender Admin > Gender.
The first time an administrator accesses the screen, they see a banner informing them that a migration log is being generated:
After the log has been generated, the banner updates to inform the administrator that the migration log is ready:
If this banner isn’t visible, the user’s role needs to be updated in System Admin > Roles with the following role feature access:
HR Admin > HR Admin > Employee Gender > Migration Log Data
Clicking the migration log link downloads a .csv file with the file name Employee Gender Migration Log [Namespace] [FileDateTime].csv.
The log contains the following tabs:
- Employee Gender Summary
- Employee Gender Error Log
- Gender Identity Config Log
Employee Gender Summary
The Employee Gender Summary tab provides an overall picture of the number of employees in the customer’s instance of Dayforce.
Field | Description |

Total Employee Count | The total number of employees in Dayforce. |
Count of Employees Migrated Without Error | The number of employees who were successfully migrated to Enhanced Employee Gender. |
Count of Employees Migrated With Error(s) - See Employee Gender Error Log Sheet for Details |
The number of employees who weren’t successfully migrated to Enhanced Employee Gender. |
Employee Gender Error Log
The Employee Gender Error Log tab contains information about employees who weren’t successfully migrated and provides information about how to resolve the issues.
Gender Identity Config Log
The Gender Identity Config Log tab contains information on existing gender identity system configuration that has been moved to the new Gender screen in HR Admin > Employee Gender Admin.
