Gender Form

The Gender form is used by an employee to save or update gender records.

Fields in the Gender form
Field Description
Country The country that this employee selects for living, working, or reporting purposes.
State/Province The state or province selection for the country that the employee provided. Only for the United States and Canada.
Assigned Sex The designations that are used in a legal or medical context in the selected country, state, or province. The information might be used for payroll, benefits, or compliance reporting to state, province, or government authorities. In some cases, an assigned sex selection might be required for both the country and a state or province in that country.
Gender Identity

The employee's personal identification of gender in a selected country, state, or province.

Effective From

Effective To

The start and end date for the gender information.

Shown only if the Display Enhanced Gender Last Modification Information and Effective Dating checkbox is selected in System Admin > Client Properties.

Submitted and processed forms update gender fields in the Personal > Confidential Information screen of People and the employee’s profile.
