Enable Enhanced Employee Gender History

Important: You can’t turn off the Display Enhanced Gender Last Modification Information and Effective Dating client property after you enable it.

If needed, you can access information about employee gender changes by enabling the Display Enhanced Gender Last Modification Information and Effective Dating client property. This property controls whether effective dating and last modified record data is collected for employees.

When this property is selected, the Gender section in the Personal > Confidential Information screen of People shows the Active/All switch and the following fields:

  • Last Modified Time
  • Last Modified User
  • Effective From
  • Effective To

When this property is cleared, these fields aren’t shown and you can see only current gender records for employees. This is the default option.

To enable enhanced employee gender history:

  1. Go to System Admin > Client Properties.
  2. In the General section, select the Display Enhanced Gender Last Modification Information and Effective Dating client property.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Restart Dayforce.
