In the Launch tab of Engagement Setup > Surveys, you schedule the survey launch and (optionally) close dates.
To launch the survey:
- Go to Engagement Setup > Surveys.
- Open a draft survey or create a new survey.
- In the Launch tab, enter or select the date and time to launch the survey in the Schedule Survey Launch fields.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to set a close date for the survey, enter or select the close date in the Schedule Survey Close fields.
- If you want the survey to stay open until you manually close it, clear the Set close date checkbox.
- Click Save.
When the survey launches, Dayforce sends the invitation message configured in the Notifications tab to all eligible participants.
For surveys configured to auto add employees, Dayforce checks daily for eligible participants, and sends invitations as necessary. If there are any issues adding participants to the survey, the Engagement Auto Add Survey Execution Notification is sent to administrators to inform them. See Assign System Notifications.
The survey remains open until you click the Close button in the Launch tab, or until the scheduled survey close date passes (if used). After the survey is closed, the personalized links to the survey become inactive.
Note: The date and time fields are configured in your local system time.
