Review the Survey Results

In the Survey Results tab of Engagement, you can view a breakdown of responses by question. Responses are shown in three sections, based on the question type: Responses, NPS℠, and Open Ended.

You can sort the results in the Sort By drop-down list, by:

  • Categories
  • Results

In the Responses section, Dayforce shows a percentage breakdown of the responses by sentiment:

  • Favorable: Responses of Strongly Agree and Agree on the five point scale.
  • Neutral: Responses of Neutral on the five point scale.
  • Unfavorable: Responses of Strongly Disagree and Disagree on the five point scale.

In the NPS℠ section, Dayforce displays the NPS℠ gauge.

In the Open Ended section, Dayforce shows a list of the questions that are configured with this answer type. To view details about the responses, click a question in the list.

View Question Details

Click any question in the Survey Results tab to view a detailed breakdown.

Questions in the Responses section include a breakdown of favorable responses.

Questions in the NPS℠ section show the Net Promoter Score℠ and a bar chart that identifies the percentages of detractors, passives, and promoters that make up the score.

For all types of questions, the detail summary includes a list of comments. This list shows either the ID or Name column, depending on whether the survey was configured to collect responses anonymously or with the names of the respondents.

If your role has access to the Sentiment tab, you can go there to analyze the sentiments for the survey. See Review the Survey Sentiments.

Note: Surveys that were created prior to Dayforce Release 2025.2.0 might also show an icon indicating the sentiment that was assigned to each comment.

Export Survey Results

Click Export Results to queue the export job. The file is delivered to your inbox when it’s ready.
