Localize Engagement Surveys

The system defined content of surveys is already localized for you, such as the questions in the question library. However, you need to localize the user-definable (that is, client-configurable) values in the Questions, Branding, and Notification tabs of Engagement Setup > Surveys:

  • The custom questions that have been added to the survey.
  • The company name, URL, and survey messages.
  • The invitation and reminder messages.

Important: You must localize the content for a survey before it’s published. After the survey has been published, you can't edit the survey, including localizing its contents.

Important: If a value is defined but not localized, it will appear as it was entered for all survey participants, including those using a different culture setting. As such, it’s best practice to localize all of the values that you define.
