You can localize custom questions in the screen in Engagement Setup.
Note: System questions can’t be localized in the screen, but they can be localized when included in surveys. For information about localizing system questions for individual surveys, see Localize System Questions for Each Survey.
To add localizations for a custom question:
- Go to Engagement Setup and click the screen.
- In the Custom tab, open the question that you want to localize.
- In the Localization section, click Add localization.
- Select the languages that you want to add localization for, and then click Add languages.
- Each of the languages that you added appear in the Localization section with a warning that they’re missing translation.
- For each language, do the following to add translation:
- Click the Actions icon and select Edit. A side panel opens with that language as its title.
- Add the translations for the default question and each of its variants. The English language source is also shown.
- Click Save changes to close the panel.
- When you're finished adding translations to the question, click Save changes.
If you make changes in the side panel that you don't want to keep, click Reset to recover the original wording.
