Localize Answer Types

You can add localization for custom question answer types in the Question library > Answer types screen in Engagement Setup.

Note: You can’t add localizations for system questions.

To localize the name and labels for a custom answer type:

1. Go to Engagement Setup and click the Question library > Answer types screen.
2. Select the custom answer type that you want to localize.
3. Click Localize in the toolbar. A dialog box opens.
4. Click Add.
5. Select a language In the Language column.
6. In the Name column, enter the localized name for the answer type.
7. (Optional) If the answer type is configured with a scale, enter the localized labels in the Scale Beginning Label and Scale Ending Label columns.
8. When you're finished, click Save.

To localize the individual options for a custom answer type:

1. Go to Engagement Setup and click the Question library > Answer types screen.
2. Select the custom answer type that you want to localize.
3. In the Answer Type Options section, click the Localize icon for the option that you want to localize. A dialog box opens.
4. Click Add.
5. Select a language In the Language column.
6. In the Name column, enter the localized text for the option.
7. Click Save.
