Localize Answer Types

Before You Begin: This section describes localization for custom answer types in the question library in the Answer Types tab in Engagement Setup > Question Setup.

To localize a custom answer type:

1. Go to Engagement Setup > Question Setup and click the Answer Types tab.
2. Select the answer type you want to localize.
3. Click Localize. A dialog box opens.
4. Click Add.
5. Click the field in the Language column and then select a language in the drop-down list.
6. Click the field in the Name column and then enter the localized text for the answer type name.
7. (Optional) If the answer type is configured with a scale, click the field in the Scale Beginning Label and Scale Ending Label columns and then enter the localized text for the scale labels.
8. Click Save.

To localize the answer type options:

1. Go to Engagement Setup > Question Setup and click the Answer Types tab.
2. In the Answer Type Options section, click Localize associated with the answer type option you want to localize. A dialog box opens.
3. Click Add.
4. Click the field in the Language column and then select a language in the drop-down list.
5. Click the field in the Name column and then enter the localized text for the answer type option.
6. Click Save.
