For the Department key segment, you can configure which departments are grouped together in the Criteria section.
To configure department criteria:
- Go to Engagement Setup >Results Setup and click the Key Segments tab.
- Enter the name of the group of departments in the Name field.
- The comparison code that identifies the criteria is displayed in the Comparison Code field.
- Note: The comparison code is a unique identifier that is automatically generated by Dayforce when the key segment name is created. If necessary, you can update this value. The value isn’t automatically updated if you edit the criteria name.
- Important: If the key segment has been previously included in a survey, there might already be survey data associated with it. If you edit the key segment information, this data continues to be associated with the key segment and will impact your future comparisons. Depending on the changes you make the same key segment might show different data, or you might break the link for expected comparisons across surveys.
- Select the departments to include in the Departments drop-down list.
- If an area of your organization is made up of several departments that you want to see the combined analysis for, you can group them together. For example, Research and Development can include the Product, Development, and Content Development departments.
- Add or remove as many criteria using the Add, Copy, and Delete buttons.
- Click Save.
You can localize the Department criteria, if necessary. See Localize Department Criteria.
