In the Data Anonymity tab of Engagement Setup > Surveys, you can specify whether each employee’s name is collected with their responses or if their responses are collected anonymously.
When you select the Collect survey respondent name checkbox, the following occurs:
- A disclaimer is automatically added to the invitation message in the Notifications tab and to the welcome message in the Branding tab of Engagement Setup > Surveys. This disclaimer informs employees that their name will be shown with their survey responses. You can customize the disclaimer for each survey, as needed.
- For more information, see Configure Notifications for Surveys and Define Survey Branding.
- After you publish the survey, the respondent’s names are shown in the Survey Results and Comments tabs in Engagement.
For anonymous surveys, you can also specify the minimum number of responses and comments required to view aggregated results for the survey.
To configure data anonymity:
- Go to Engagement Setup > Surveys.
- Open a draft survey or create a new survey, and then click the Data Anonymity tab.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to see each employee's name with their survey responses, select the Collect survey respondent name checkbox, and then click Save. No further configuration is needed.
- If you want the survey to be anonymous, leave the checkbox cleared, and then continue to the next step.
- In the Thresholds for Results section, enter the following:
- The minimum number of responses that need to be collected before Dayforce shows the survey results. The default value is 5.
- The minimum number of comments required per question that need to be collected before Dayforce shows comments on the survey. The default value is 10.
- In the Engagement Administration section, select one of the following options to specify how thresholds apply to user with access to the Engagement Administration feature:
- No thresholds: The default thresholds aren’t applied. Users with administrator access to Engagement can see all results without any threshold restrictions.
- Apply thresholds at all organizational levels except for aggregated results at the top organizational level: Administrators are exempt from thresholds for aggregated results at the top-most level of the organization, which lets them review all comments at the top level and aggregated results. Thresholds apply at all levels for key segments and for all result views as administrators navigate down the view selector.
- Click Save.
