For the Age Band key segment, you can configure periods of time that define each age band in the Criteria section.
Dayforce is configured with system criteria values that you can use as is, or you can add, delete, or edit these values.
To configure age band criteria:
- Go to Engagement Setup >Results Setup and click the Key Segments tab.
- In the Name field, enter the name of the time period.
- The comparison code that identifies the criteria is displayed in the Comparison Code field.
- Note: The comparison code is a unique identifier that is automatically generated by Dayforce when the key segment name is created. If necessary, you can update this value. The value isn’t automatically updated if you edit the criteria name.
- Important: If the key segment has been previously included in a survey, there might already be survey data associated with it. If you edit the key segment information, this data continues to be associated with the key segment and will impact your future comparisons. Depending on the changes you make the same key segment might show different data, or you might break the link for expected comparisons across surveys.
- The earliest time period covers all years prior to the value you specify in the End Year field in the top row.
- Select an operator in the End Year drop-down list:
- <: The time period includes all years prior to the year specified.
- <=: The time period includes all years prior to and including the year specified.
- Enter the year in the End Year field.
- Dayforce automatically calculates the Start Year of the following time periods based on the operator and end year configured in the preceding row.
- To add or remove a time period, click the add or delete icons (
).
- Repeat the steps to configure as many time periods as necessary. The latest time period covers all years after the value specified in the End Year field of the last row.
- Click Save.
You can localize the Age Band criteria, if necessary. See Localize Age Band Criteria.
