Work on Goals

A main benefit of Performance is the ability to return to goals at any time to update progress or details, and to engage in feedback with employees. Continuous updates and feedback promote input and allow recollection of key accomplishments throughout the review period.

When performance is monitored and feedback is provided regularly, the 'recency effect' of the review process is lessened. The 'recency effect' refers to assigning ratings based on an employee’s most recent performance rather than their performance over an entire review period.
