Depending on how your time entry policy is configured, you can waive meals in Work > Timesheet.
To waive a meal, select Waive Meals in the drop-down list for the applicable timesheet row:
You can unwaive a meal by clicking Unwaive Meals:
A shift can have any of the following meal waiver statuses, each denoted by its corresponding icon:
Icon | Description |
---|---|
|
The employee waived their scheduled meal or break. |
|
The manager waived the employee’s scheduled meal or break. |
|
Both the employee and manager waived the employee’s scheduled meal or break. |
Waive Individual Meals
Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you might be able to waive individual meals in Work > Timesheet.
In the drop-down list for the applicable timesheet row, select Waive First Meal or Waive Second Meal:
To unwaive the meal, click the drop-down list for the applicable timesheet row and select Unwaive First Meal or Unwaive Second Meal.
