View Other Employees’ Pending Bids

Depending on how your instance of Dayforce is configured, you might be able to view bids made by other employees in your vacation bidding group. This allows you to plan your bids ahead of time based on the current availability of eligible vacation slots, because you can determine the likelihood of winning a bid on a date that might already contains other bids.

Note: You can view bids made by other employees only during an active submission round.

To view pending vacation bids made by other employees during a submission round:

  1. Go to Work > Calendar.
  2. Select the Bidding Calendar View in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. In the calendar, load a period that contains an active vacation bidding session.
  4. Click a date. Dayforce shows a menu containing options.
  5. Click View pending request list, if available. Dayforce shows the pending requests message containing employees who have submitted bids on the selected date and their rank in the vacation bidding order:

  7. Note: If you select a date during an active submission round and the View pending request list option isn't shown, no bids were placed on the selected date. Alternatively, if the View pending request list option isn't shown when you click an eligible date in the calendar, you might not have the appropriate role access to view pending bids made by other employees.
  8. If your vacation bidding session contains sub-groups, Dayforce marks employees who are assigned to your sub-group in the Member of my sub-group column of the pending requests message:
