You can separate goals that are no longer relevant to one another by unaligning the child goal from its parent in Performance > Goals. Any child goals associated with the goal that you’re unaligning are also separated and remain with the unaligned goal.
Before You Begin: You can only unalign goals that you created.
To unalign a goal:
- Go to Performance > Goals and select the goal sub-tab that contains the goal you want to unalign.
- Click the action icon () and then select Unalign Goal.
- The application displays a dialog box confirming that you want to unalign the goal from its parent goal.
- Click OK. The two goals are unaligned, and the name of the previously aligned goal is removed from the goal details.
