To get started, select Performance in the navigation panel, and then select the Goals tab. The application displays three tabs for creating and managing goals: My Goals, Organizational Goals, and Draft Goals.
Each tab has a similar layout and functionality; however, there are key differences that make each tab useful in different situations. The following are the key uses for each tab, and an example of how the tabs look when populated with goals.
My Goals Tab
In the My Goals tab, you can perform day-to-day work on your own goals. The My Goals tab only displays goals that you created or that your manager or administrator assigned to you.
The application displays your personal goals in expandable panels with a conversation icon, the number of aligned child goals (if applicable), the goal due date, and the goal status. When you expand a panel, Dayforce displays additional information for the goal.
Organizational Goals Tab
- View how goals are aligned to each other.
- Align your goals to or unalign them from organizational goals.
- Access all organizational goals, including unassigned ones.
The application displays each goal in an expandable panel. When the panel is collapsed, Dayforce displays the number of employees assigned to the goal, as well as the number of aligned child goals (if applicable). When you expand the panel, Dayforce displays additional information for the goal.
Draft Goals Tab
Work on goals that you haven't yet published (goals you've saved as a draft).
The application displays your draft goals in expandable panels that are similar to those in the other tabs. When you expand the panel, Dayforce displays any additional information that you’ve saved for the goal.
Note: When a goal is saved as a draft, other users can't see it.
