Filter Competencies

You can use the filter options in the Competencies tab to filter which items are displayed in the list. Click Filter to open a panel where you can adjust the filter options. When you click Apply Filter, the list is updated to reflect the updated filters. Click Clear Filter to remove the filters and restore the view back to all competencies.

Dayforce saves your last filter settings when you visit another feature outside of Performance, and even when you log out of Dayforce. However, you can clear these filter settings at any time.

Filter options for competencies
Filter Option Description
Competency Category Enter all or part of a competency category and select a search operator.
Competency Name Enter all or part of a competency name and select a search operator.
Core Competency Select Yes or No in the drop-down list to filter the list by core or non-core competencies.
Description Enter all or part of a description and select a search operator.

Effective End Date

Select a date and a search operator.

Note: The effective end date, if defined, is the date that the competency is no longer displayed in Performance. This value is defined by administrators during configuration.

Effective Start Date

Select a date and a search operator.

Note: The effective start date is the date that the competency became available in Performance. This value is defined by administrators during configuration.

Match All Conditions When this button is selected, results are only returned if they match all of the parameters that you defined.
Match Any Conditions When this button is selected, all results are returned if they match any one of the parameters that you defined.
