Your Dayforce administrator can give you posting permissions for communities. Some communities might be read-only. Your posts are shown on the main page of your selected community. The most recent posts are at the top of the page.
To create a new post:
- Go to Communications > Communities and click Share an update with the Community.
- Enter your message. You can apply text formatting and add links, images, and videos with the controls at the top of the text field.

Text editor controls Control Image Description Bold, Italic, Underline Bold, italicize, or underline your text. Paragraph styles Keep the default paragraph style or select a paragraph style in the drop-down list. Bullet list Insert a bulleted or numbered list. Insert link With the text highlighted, click this icon to add a link. You can specify whether the link opens in the same window, a new window, the parent window, or the top-most window. - (Optional) To insert an image, click the add attachments icon (
), then click Images. You can attach up to 20 images per post or comment. Images should follow these guidelines:
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
- Minimum dimensions: 400 pixels by 225 pixels
- Ideal dimensions: 800 pixels by 450 pixels
- Click Post.
